I, Oheneba Nana Kwame Obeng II, Chief (King) of Sefwi Obeng-Mim within the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area of the Western North Region of Ghana, West Africa, am pleased to announce that Asafohene Dr. Lewis Tei Luk, JP, KGCG is on this 5th day of December 2020 being bestowed and to be enstooled with The Crown of Honor of the Royal House of Selwi Obeng-Mim with the honorary Royal title of Nkosuohene.
The Crown of Honor is the highest honor that may be bestowed to non-Ghanaian and independent of the Royal Orders. Nkosuohene as the Chief (King) of Development occupies a throne (a traditional stool or seat of power) and is entitled to a traditional royal crown. The Chief (King) of Development has the responsibility to contribute to the development projects in the communities under the Divisional Chieftaincy.
Special permission is granted to the lawful wife of Asafohene Dr. Lewis Tei Luk to use the courtesy Royal title of Nkosuoheneyere.
Until the enstoolment is able to occur, this Chieftaincy will be honorary. After enstoolment, all traditional rights and privileges will be in effect.
